Course description

To be taken after completing https//summer.harvard.edu/academics/courses/SWAH/AASWAH S-AA this course brings students to an intermediate level of fluency in Swahili. The course establishes a path of gradual (sometimes rapid) development for the student to hear speak read and write Swahili. Aspects of life culture and traditions are introduced to enable students to learn Bantu languages via practical meaning making thought engaging and sense making activities found in the social worlds of the peoples living in the dozen or so countries where Swahili is spoken.
