Course description

Technology advances at a dizzying pace, allowing us to do things that decades ago seemed unthinkable. This is especially true in the natural sciences, where genetic engineering and advances in neuroscience have led to discoveries that hold great potential for human health but raise important ethical concerns as to their usage. In this course we examine the science behind some of these techniques and discuss their ethical implications both in terms of the individual and society.
